The days of trawling around countless unsuitable houses in the quest of the perfect home could be over, thanks to the latest innovation created for Rightmove by O: virtual reality house viewing.
We used the latest created VR production techniques to create virtual reality tours of two houses which can be viewed on any smartphone a Google Cardboard.
The two test properties included a brand new development in Finchely Central, and a pimpin’ £2.5million seven-bedroom mansion (yes, the crew did pretend there were in Cribs…)
Wanna get technical? Each room was filmed on a camera rig with six connected GoPro cameras, and then stitched together with editing software/magic to create a fully immersive 360-degree video.
The Manifest team did a stellar job pitching it into press receiving coverage in Mirror Online, Metro, Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Times, Independent, Evening Standard and Homes and Property. NICE WORK GUYS!

Could this be the future of house-viewing? We think so!
